Boba Fett to come to 'Fortnite' on Dec. 24

Epic Games / Disney

While we're getting a Naruto collaboration real soon, another potentially iconic Fortnite crossover is coming on Christmas Eve. Star Wars' Boba Fett will be coming to the game on December 24, the weekend before The Book of Boba Fett debuts on Disney+ on December 29. Epic Games will be adding the bounty hunter to the game at 7 PM ET. And the teaser art for this crossover shows Fett's partner Fennec Shand, so we're assuming she'll make an appearance, too.

Epic hasn't shared what's coming then, but we can assume we're getting skins of both characters and more items. We'll make sure to update when we hear more.

Disney+ show 'Ahsoka' tipped to have Hayden Christensen, too

Lucasfilm

Hayden Christensen, who played Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader in the prequels, is already set to reprise his role in next year's Obi-Wan Kenobi show with Ewan McGregor. But aside from that, there are rumours that he will also be reprising his role in the upcoming Disney+ series Ahsoka. It won't be much of a surprise to see him there, given that Ahsoka Tano was Anakin Skywalker's padawan. What isn't clear is how he'll fit into the story.

Ahsoka takes place five years after the events in Return of the Jedi, but Vader dies in that film, so we're wondering how he'll fit into the story. Perhaps as a flashback or a Force ghost? Rosario Dawson will be reprising her role as Ahsoka, which she played in The Mandalorian. Dave Filoni will write the story and serve as an executive producer alongside Jon Favreau. The series will kick off production in 2022.

For anime fans out there, the galaxy far, far away is coming to your radar. Lucasfilm has just released a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming Star Wars: Visions, an anthology of short anime films set in the universe. The shorts feature everything from a chibi Boba Fett, rock opera, a twin Star Destroyer, and many more.

"We really wanted to give these creators a wide creative birth to explore the Star Wars galaxy," LucasFilm executive producer James Waugh said during the Anime Expo Lite panel. "We wanted this to be as authentic as possible to the studios and the creators. The idea was, this is their vision, riffing off all of the elements of the Star Wars galaxy that inspired them."
