‘No Man’s Sky’ encourages you to explore with new trailer

Getting gamers hyped up for the upcoming release of No Man’s Sky, the game’s developer Hello Games is release four “Guides to the Galaxy.” This week’s video shows off the exploration that can be done with the game. Indie game No Man’s Sky claims there are 18 quintillion planets with a “limitless variety” of biodiversity, so yes, there is much exploring to be done here. The video shows players moving around the universe and seeing the worlds and the creatures that inhabit them. It doesn’t say much else about gameplay but perhaps we’ll learn more from the upcoming fight, trade, and survival guides.

New ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows’ trailer intros Krang

We’ll be honest, we don’t have high expectations for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. With Michael Bay as the producer, we’re not thinking it’ll be anything but a hyped up movie. But we still want to think it’ll be entertaining in its own silly way. Its new trailer gives us a closer look of Krang, the film’s menacing pink bubblegum monster with fangs, and he somehow still looks scary in CG. If this is something you’d want to catch, the movie comes out on June 3rd.

Bigger troubles lie ahead in ‘Star Trek Beyond’

The newest trailer for the Star Trek Beyond is looking very promising. There’s a tone of uncertainty from Captain Kirk and the Enterprise crew take on an enemy that’s unlike anything they have faced before. There’s a lot of tension and a hint of humor that we hope extends to the rest of the movie. Fast & Furious filmmaker Justin Lin takes on the director role from J.J. Abrams in this third film of the reboot series. Paramount is probably hoping he can work his magic on the franchise in the same way he did when he took over the Fast & Furious films. The script is written by Simon Pegg (who plays Montgomery Scott in the series), Doug Jung, Roberto Orci, John D. Payne, and Patrick McKay. It stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Idris Elba, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Pegg, Karl Urban, and Anton Yelchin.
