Apple releases new firmware for AirPods and Beats products

Apple recently released a firmware update for several of its wireless headphone models, including the AirPods Pro 2, first-generation AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, AirPods (second- and third-gen), Beats Fit Pro, and PowerBeats Pro.

The second-gen ‌AirPods Pro‌ models, the PowerBeats Pro, and the Beats Fit Pro now have firmware version 6F8 (up from 6F7), while the other models have firmware version 6A326 (up from 6A321).

It runs a customized Android 14 version called NebulaOS, enabling app use on your AR display. Apple supposedly shifts focus to affordable Vision Pro follow-up

Apple appears to be prioritizing a more affordable mixed reality (MR) headset over the next-generation Vision Pro, according to a new report by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

Gurman's Power On newsletter details Apple's plans for the "N107," a prototype for a lower-cost headset. This model would reportedly have a narrower field of view than the Vision Pro and might rely on a tethered iPhone or Mac for processing power. This approach would significantly reduce production costs compared to the standalone Vision Pro.
