Nothing and CASETiFY launch smartphone case collab for iPhone 14 and 15

CASETiFY and Nothing

Nothing, the British electronics brand known for its minimalist design, has partnered with CASETiFY for a new line of smartphone cases. But it isn't for its phones. Instead, the collaboration features four cases compatible with the iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 series. It carries that transparent back design distinctive for its devices, but they've made the phone cases for Apple devices. It's available in black or white, with either the "Nothing" logo or white lines highlighting the wireless charger. If you want to confuse people, here's a case to get.

The collection also includes a Nothing Mini Pouch for the Ear (2), Nothing’s wireless earbuds. The pouch has a utility lanyard that makes it easy to carry and access your earbuds and their case. The Nothing x CASETiFY collaboration is available on CASETiFY's website, with pricing starting at US$70 (around CA$97).

Google launches Gmail app for Wear OS

9to5Google

Google has launched a Gmail app for Wear OS, which lets smartwatch users view and open their emails. The app was first announced at Google I/O in May. But it has now been spotted by 9to5Google on the Play Store. It enables users to access their email from their Pixel Watch. You can refresh your inbox, scroll through emails, and switch between accounts from the watch. The app also shows new email notifications on the watch face.

This is a significant upgrade for Wear OS users. Before, they could only get Gmail notifications and archive, reply, or delete emails. The app works on Wear OS 3 or Wear OS 4 and is available for download now.
