Following the acquisition of i.TV in November 2013, social network for TV shows and movies GetGlue will be renamed as tvtag and have a change of its corporate colors from blue to red. A new update is said to follow the rebranding in the coming week. GetGlue currently has around 4.5 million users.

Tumblr has updated its terms of service for the first time in two years and released a draft of it on Github before they post it on the site. At the heart of the update, Tumblr wanted to provide guidelines or rules for how users should use the blogging site. The Yahoo!-owned company is reminding users to attribute sources properly when reposting and stop impersonating companies, people, etc. Those who repeatedly violate the new rules can have their accounts suspended or blocked completely.

The page contains a list of the performers and nominees and during the show, you can tap on the orange button to view real-time information such as Twitter posts and the winners list. HTC's flagship smartphone is about to get much smarter. Canadian carriers are slated to release the much awaited KitKat update for the HTC One. HTC Canada has confirmed that carriers Rogers, Bell, TELUS, SaskTel, Virgin and WIND all have possession of the update and are running the mandatory tests before unleashing the update into the wild. Timeframe for release is for late January, but as far as carriers go, that's a moving target.
A roadmap leak by LlabTooFeR also confirms that the rest of the HTC One bunch (meaning the mini, max and even the Desire 601) are expected to be blessed with updated Android 4.4.2 plus Sense 5 double-whammy. Which should keep users of these devices quite happy.
