CyanogenMod phone now up for sale

 

The Google-approved modded smartphone is now up for sale around the world for US$599. The Oppo N1 does not look quite like the Android devices out on the market with its swiveling camera with separate button accessory and a baby blue back. But what makes it stand out is it allows you to pick between Android and the heavily modified Android version called CyanogenMod. You can check Oppo store to order your device.

Sony and Panasonic reportedly calls off OLED TV collaboration

The Verge reports that Sony and Panasonic have cancelled their partnership deal to co-produce OLED televisions. Eighteen months after the two tech companies signed the deal, The Wall Street Journal cites unnamed sources claiming that Sony and Panasonic might concentrate on developing LCD-based 4K TVs.

Olloclip's CEO Patrick O' Neill chosen as Entrepreneur of the Year 2013

The man behind Olloclip lenses, which are iPhone exclusive three-in-one camera lenses has been chosen as Entrepreneur Magazine's Entrepreneur of the Year. Patrick O' Neill decided to create a clever way to mount lenses on the iPhone's camera and as a result gave millions of photographers a wider range of options in their mobile photography.

Columbia's "Millenium Blur" ski jacket is a 'must-have' for being winter active


This holiday season, while many of you are anxiously awaiting your flights out to a hotter climate, I am diving into the cold, unforgiving winter that is Blue Mountain, Collingwood, ON. And I couldn't be happier about it. You see, aside from packing all the fleece I possibly could into my duffle and wearing a cozy pair of Sorel boots (stay tuned for that write-up) my friends at Columbia sportswear hooked me up with the new "Millennium Blur" ski jacket to try out on the slopes.
