BlackBerry Q5 coming to Koodo

The BlackBerry Q5 is the lower-cost model designed for emerging markets and a way for BlackBerry to bring the BB10 OS ecosystem to users of older devices like the Curve and Pearl lines whcih are still favoured in Asia-Pacific and Europe. Canadians will soon be getting the Q5 from Koodo.

The Q5 is listed at Koodo's website as coming soon on and will cost $50 with the Koodo tab plan or $350 outright. That sounds like a fair deal for what looks to be a solid smarpthone with a decent QWERTY keyboard and all the glory of BB10.

Apple releases iOS 7 beta 4 to developers

Apple today has quietly released iOS7 beta 4 for developers, bringing "bug fixes and improvements” to the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

Although I haven't gone hands-on with the new OS, I hear that each new update brings more improvements infunctionality and core usability in preparation for its suspected official launch in September.

If you haven't yet updated, grab the OTA on your UDID approved device now.
