Thinner, lighter and more powerful Nexus 7 tablet launched with Android OS 4.3

The much rumoured and widely leaked Google Nexus 7 (2013) was unveiled today at a Google event in San Francisco together with the launch of the latest version of Android OS Jelly Bean 4.3. The new Nexus 7 features a 1.5GHz  Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro 8064 processor and features an unprecedented 323 pixel per inch density. It will be thinner and lighter than the preceding model and now features a 5.0MP rear-facing and 1.2MP front-facing camera, where the previous one only had a front-facing camera. The new Nexus 7 is expected to retail in the US for  $229.99 for 16GB of memory and $269.99 for 32GB, no Canadian availability has been announced so far.
