Norton public betas up for grabs

Symantec has announced the public betas of its products: the Norton 360, Norton Internet Security, and Norton AntiVirus. The free download of this pre-release software is said to work with the upcoming Windows 8.1 version and promises stronger protection as well as better performance.

BlackBerry and MLSE Announce Three-year Partnership

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) announced today that BlackBerry will be the Official Mobile Computing Partner of the Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL), Toronto Raptors (NBA) and Toronto Marlies (AHL).

Through the marketing relationship, the iconic BlackBerry brand will be featured prominently in and around Air Canada Centre, and BlackBerry will collaborate with MLSE to develop a range of new platforms that will enable teams to connect with fans by sharing information and updates.

Watch Microsoft's Build 2013 Conference on June 26

Microsoft is hosting Build 2013 in San Francisco this week, where the company will showcase how developers can create experiences on the Windows platform to engage consumers, empower employees, solve problems and drive companies. It will also unveil Windows 8.1, which will bring various fixes and user-requested functionality including the Start button.

As part of the conference, on Wednesday 26 June at approximately 12noon EST, Julie Larson-Green, CVP of Windows, and Antoine Leblond, CVP of Windows Program Management, will participate in the Day 1 keynote to discuss Windows 8.1 and highlight the additional opportunities for developers to design, build and market their Windows Store apps.  Tune in here to watch the keynote and learn more, and check The Windows Blog for more information throughout the event.
