Review: Glove.ly touchscreen gloves

Some smartphones like the Nokia Lumia 920 allow touch screen control even with gloves on. But for iPhones and the majority of Android devices, users have no option in cold weather but to take theif fingers out of their gloves in order to interface with their devices. Review: BlackBerry Z10

After a long wait and pent-up expectations, BlackBerry's new flagship smartphone arrives with a solid new and modern mobile operating system. The BlackBerry Z10, which is coming to Canadian carriers on February 5, is the nexus of BlackBerry's plan to be the one device for work and for personal use. Video: Testing the BlackBerry Z10 for photos and HD video recording

Here's a basic test of the Z10's built-in 8 megapixel camera for photos and HD video. The camera app is generally easy to deploy and does take photos quickly. Since there is no physical button, users simply tap the screen to take a photo. While the camera is quick, there were instances where it did not focus properly or took the photo without focusing thus resulting in somewhat blurry photos even in well-lit conditions. HD video recording works as advertised and there seems to be some built-in stabilization as well. The photo editing app has various quick fixes as well as Instagram-like filters that can easily be applied to a photo and I'll test those in my full review.
