The app introduces a new menstrual-focused page on Today's Inspiration featuring resources and curated creator content. There's also a new Period Proud shopping resource for shoppable access to period products available in Canada. Clubhouse gets a protected profiles option

Source: Clubhouse

Clubhouse gives users more protection over their profiles, restricting others from seeing their latest interactions on the app. The feature comes as a response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The company wants to ensure users feel safe having conversations on the app. Only your followers can see your user activity when you have the protected profile enabled. Any other user will have to ask permission to follow you. And the rooms, clubs, and replays you've joined won't be visible to the public, too.

The company confirmed the feature on the website, saying it's meant to prevent users, especially Russians, from being harmed for speaking out against the war on the internet. This feature will also make users "less visible on Clubhouse in general." So, those who don't follow you won't see you online, and your profile won't be recommended to others in the app. Of course, Clubhouse wants to remind its users to be careful about what they put on their profiles and what they say in conversations.
