'Chrono Trigger' PC version's surprise update makes it playable on ultrawide monitors

If you play Chrono Trigger on the PC and own an ultrawide monitor, this news is for you. Square Enix updated the Steam version of the game for the first time in four years to add support for 21:9 resolutions. Chrono Trigger also gets "improved" d-pad controls and other user interface and quality of life updates.

As Engadget pointed out, the ultrawide screen support is unusual for retro ports and even some modern games, so it's a nice touch for Chrono Trigger.

Instagram finally allows Live creators to appoint moderators

Source: Instagram

It seems pretty shocking that we're only now getting moderator support in Instagram's Live function. The social media site announced that its Live creators can now assign moderators for their streams. These moderators can report comments, remove viewers from the Live, or turn off comments for a specific viewer.

If you live stream on Instagram, you can assign a moderator by tapping on the three dots in the comment bar during a Live. You can then choose a moderator from a list of suggested accounts or use the search bar to look for a specific account.

Samsung to host 'Awesome Galaxy A Event' on Mar. 17

Source: Samsung

Samsung is about to hold its second event of the year. The company has started sending out invites for its "Awesome Galaxy A Event" on Thursday, March 17 at 10 AM ET. The event will stream live on Samsung's website and YouTube channel. That event invite highlights what we're expecting from the brand. There are rumours that Samsung plans to introduce the Galaxy A73 and A53 this year. That would follow a similar timeline to last year's launch Galaxy A72 and A52

Rumour has it that the Galaxy A73 and A53 will be 5G-ready devices, an upgrade for the A72. (The Galaxy A52 already has a 5G variant.) The A73 is expected to have the same 6.7-inch display and Snapdragon 750G processor, while the Galaxy A53 is expected to pair its 6.5-inch display with its in-house Exynos 1200 chipset.
