Check out the episode release dates of 'How I Met Your Father' on Disney+ Canada

After the Hulu/Star Original series How I Met Your Father premiered in the U.S. on January 18, it is coming to more markets on March 9, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and more. The first two episodes will drop on that date, with each new episode released weekly through May 4, 2022.

The 10-episode How I Met Your Father series is a sequel to How I Met Your Mother and stars Hilary Duff and Chris Lowell. Duff (and Kim Cattrall) stars as Sophie, who narrates to her son the story of how she met his father, similar to how Josh Radnor's (and Bob Saget's) Ted Mosby did in the original series. Other cast members include Francia Raisa, Josh Peck, Ashley Reyes, Tien Tran, Daniel Augustin, Tom Ainsley, and Suraj Sharma.

Microsoft Surface Duo finally gets Android 11 update

Source: Microsoft

It's been a long wait, but Microsoft is finally rolling out the Android 11 update to unlocked Surface Duos in North America and Europe. Microsoft initially promised the update was coming before the end of 2021. With this update's arrival, we've set our sights on watching out for Android 12, which isn't even available on the Surface Duo 2

Windows Central reports that Microsoft is planning to skip Android 12. Instead, it'll jump right into Android 12L, which is built to improve the operating system on larger screens. That would be a more logical option. Hopefully, that arrives quicker than the last update.

WhatsApp preps chat transfer tool from Android to iOS

Source: WABetaInfo

WhatsApp already lets some Samsung and Google Pixel users migrate their chat histories from iOS to their devices. But now, the company is reportedly working on an option to import your Android chat history to iOS. WABetaInfo spotted the feature in the latest WhatsApp beta version 22.274 for iOS, which the publication pointed out corroborates a discovery made in the 2.21.20.11 Android beta version. It'll reportedly use the Move to iOS app to transfer the chats.

Based on the screenshots from WABetaInfo, it looks like you'll need to allow the app to start the transfer process. And you'll need to keep your phone unlocked with the app open to begin the transfer. It isn't clear when WhatsApp plans to roll this option out. But if it's testing it out, we might see it sooner than later.
