The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 comes with an 8-inch display next to the keyboard

ASUS isn't the only company with a dual-screened laptop. Lenovo is also bringing another unusually designed laptop to CES. The latest iteration of the experimental ThinkBook Plus line gets a second, notepad-shaped display beside the keyboard.

The ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 pairs its main 17.3-inch IPS 3K display with an 8-inch 800 x 1,280 LCD that has a digitizer layer so you can use a stylus with it. Windows 11 is tweaked to accommodate the additional screen. As Engadget noted, more snap shortcut options are available here that take the second display into account. It has a waterfall mode that cascades the app on the right to the screen below.

Eargo's new smart hearing aid comes with 'mask mode'

Eargo has a new smart hearing aid ready for CES. The Eargo 6 are another small, non-descript pair of black buds that take the same completely in canal form factor, meaning they can stay out of sight. It gets new features like a mask mode, which helps resolve sound change issues caused by the face coverings we need to use.

ASUS ROG unveils new Zephyrus Duo 16 dual-screened laptop

ASUS's ongoing love affair with dual-screened devices is something we continue to get behind. The newest iteration of the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 is another excellent example. This laptop gets a 16-inch main display that comes with two display options and a secondary 14.1-inch touchscreen with a resolution of up to 4K.

When we talk about the display options for the primary screen, you get the Nebula HDR QHD-resolution panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 165Hz refresh rate. It has a mini-LED backlight with a peak brightness of 1,100 nits, 100% P3 colour space support, and a DisplayHDR 1000 certification. The other option is a ROG-exclusive Dual Spec panel co-developed with BOE. It allows you to choose between viewing at 4K with a 120Hz refresh rate or 1080p at 240Hz. The discrete graphics bypass the integrated graphics for reduced latency with a MUX switch.
