Huawei FreeBuds 4i comes to Canada for $139

Huawei

Huawei's latest true wireless earbuds are now available in Canada. The FreeBuds 4i are available for purchase through Huawei Canada's official store on Amazon for $138.99. The company is currently running a special promo until May 9, which will bundle a free Huawei Band 4 Pro (worth $99) with the earbuds. The Ceramic Black and White variants are available here. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the eye-catching Red option will be available here.

What does the FreeBuds 4i offer? You get a pebble-like charging case with earbuds reminiscent of the Apple AirPods. The FreeBuds 4i have active noise cancellation and Huawei's Awareness mode, which lets ambient sound in at a tap of these buds. (Yes, there's support for touch controls.) These TWS earbuds are tuned specifically to handle pop music well.

Spotify redesigns Your Library on mobile

Spotify

Spotify has just announced it's revamping the Your Library tab on both Android and iOS. The goal was to streamline that way you can access your audio collection. According to Spotify, "Your Library's updated design and added features will enable you to spend less time looking for content and organizing your collection, and more time rediscovering the music and podcasts you've loved over the years."

The new look will make it easier to browse and search through your entire collection in one place. There will be new dynamic filters to help you look through your collection. You can choose between album, artist, playlist, or podcast. And for Premium users, you can tap on the Downloaded filter to see which content is available offline.

Google Stadia for Web finally gets search

Google

Google Stadia is finally bringing search to the web this week. It will make it easier for you to search for your favourite titles. The Stadia team also says a new UI rolling out this week will make it easier to sort your library. It'll help you keep track of your purchased, free, and Pro games.

Aside from that, the Stadia team also teased upcoming features that will come to the service, including an activity feed where you can share your best video captures and help friends find your game states with State Share. It'll also be a way for you to find content from other players. Stadia will also let you directly access the service through an Android web browser instead of the app. And if you want to bulk delete captures, you'll be able to do so on the web soon.

Facebook Marketplace reaches 1 billion users

Facebook Marketplace has one billion users and is quickly becoming a serious e-commerce play for the social network. Challenging the likes of Craigslist and even eBay, Marketplace allows anyone to sell used or new items. It has many advantages, the main one being a lot of Facebook users are already on the service by default and don't need to sign in. It also works for localized sales, where someone in your neighbourhood can simply come and pay you cash for your goods. Facebook also doesn't take a cut of smaller sales unlike eBay, which garnishes a percent of the value of the selling price.
