'The Lord of the Rings: Gollum' game release gets delayed to 2022

We're going to have to wait a bit more for the release of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum game. Its developer, Daedalic, pushed back the launch to 2022. But it didn't say why it is releasing the game at a later date. Daedalic did say it was working with Nacon to co-publish the title.

This stealth adventure game will have a dialogue mechanic that will reflect the main character's dual personalities. It'll also allow you to pick either a Gollum or Smeagol narrative.

LOTR: Gollum will be available for the PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. The PS5 version will take advantage of the console's ray-tracing capabilities and the DualSense controller's adaptive triggers.
