A tale of two segments: Apple’s software and hardware results in the fourth quarter

Apple’s latest quarterly earnings report shows a contrast between software and hardware performance. The company announced a new record for its services revenue in its fiscal fourth quarter, as well as a record for iPhone revenue in the September quarter. However, this was not enough to prevent a 1 percent year-over-year decline in overall revenue, which was $89.5 billion. This is the fourth quarter in a row that Apple has seen a drop in revenue.

macOS Sonoma update required for the new MacBook Pro and iMac with M3

Customers who order the new MacBook Pro or iMac with the M3 series processor will have to update their macOS Sonoma as soon as they receive their devices on November 7.

Apple devices often require day one updates to fix bugs and enhance performance. However, unlike the iPhone, which Apple is trying to update remotely while still in the box, the Mac does not have such a system.

Apple and Anytime Fitness are joining forces to offer a unique fitness experience. Starting in December, Anytime Fitness members in Canada and the US can enjoy Apple Fitness+ for free. The partnership also benefits existing Fitness+ users who join Anytime Fitness for at least 13 months. They get a free month of club access. Newcomers to Anytime Fitness get a free trial of three months of Fitness+.

Moreover, Anytime Fitness members can access personalized plans from expert coaches via the iOS app. These plans will feature Apple Fitness+ workouts to help them achieve their fitness and wellness goals.

Forensic Factor: A New Era will premiere on Friday, November 17 at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT on Crave, CTV.ca, and the CTV app. The six-episode series follows how cutting-edge forensic science and dedicated crime scene investigators work together to solve the most baffling crimes. It is a reboot of the classic Discovery Original Canadian docuseries Forensic Factor, which ran for six seasons from 2003.
