Apple becomes the second most popular camera brand on Flickr

A testament to the popularity of the iPhone (ok, and maybe the iPad, too), Apple has surpassed Nikon as the second most popular camera brand on Flickr. Why is this significant? Well Apple doesn't make standalone cameras (QuickTake and iSight are both discontinued) but its iPhone cameras are prolific and popular. Leading the pack is Canon with 13.4 per cent, Apple folloes with 9.6 per cent and Nikon has 9.3 per cent.

It previously released a coveted Developer Edition of th Z10 and while most of its smartphones tend to come in black and white, it gave the BlackBerry Passport the Limited Edition Red treatment recently. Originally costing $100 more than the BlackBerry Passport's $699 no contract price, BlackBerry is now selling this attractive device for the same price as the more prevalent black and white models.

Ford GT unveiled as the cover car for “Forza Motorsport 6” for Xbox One

Microsoft, Turn 10 Studios and Ford unveiled their new collaboration today at the North American International Auto Show, announcing the all-new Ford GT ultra-high performance supercar as the featured cover car in the next iteration of the acclaimed racing simulation franchise for Xbox, “Forza Motorsport 6,” launching exclusively on Xbox One.

Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox said, “We’re thrilled to have the unique opportunity to announce ‘Forza Motorsport 6’ the day the car debuts – on one of the biggest stages in the automotive industry, and we can’t wait to share more details on the game later this year.”

Google introduces Chrome Remote Desktop for iOS

Google has finally ported its Chrome Remote Desktop for iOS. And just like the Android counterpart, the iOS version will let you control your computer from your iPhone or iPad. It will also let you give your friend temporary access to your desktop, which could be of help when you need some troubleshooting. Make sure you set up remote access via the Chrome Remote Desktop app from the Chrome Web Store.

The app is slowly trickling out per region on Apple’s App Store, so wait a bit if it hasn’t made its way to you yet.
