Beck Taxi supports MADD Canada with re-loadable Card Launch

Paying for a Beck Taxi just got easier as Beck announces the launch of Beck Bucks, a fully re-loadable card and secure payment solution for Toronto passengers.

The card launch and holiday campaign aim to give back in support of renowned charity Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD Canada). How it works: One hundred Toronto women in business will receive complimentary pay-and-go Beck Bucks cards and Beck Buck hats and scarves.

For every tweet to @BeckTaxi @MADDcanada #BuckBecks made in the Beck Buck winter wear, a donation will be made to assist and cease impaired driving this holiday season.

"We're excited to partner with MADD Canada in order to raise awareness and help Torontonians get home safely this holiday season," Kristine Hubbard, Operations Manager at Beck Taxi.

Todoist adds useful new features for Android Wear integration

Todoist is upping the stakes by making your Android Wear device more functional. The app takes full advantage of Android Wear with its newest update. Notifications are actionable right from your wrist. An example is being able to reschedule due tasks or marking them as complete. It also makes use of voice integration in a more useful way. You can add tasks by saying, “Ok Google, start Todoist. Add task.” And you can even add comments to shared tasks using voice. Your to-do lists can even be beamed from your phone to your watch for a quick reference.

The update also boosts performance, data parsing, time zone handling, and gets rid of unspecified bugs.

It will still provide personalized music to the Windows Phone platform but with the Line acquisition, you can expect it to make its way to Android, iOS, BlackBerry, etc.
