Twitter takes out option to receive direct messages from non-followers

Twitter introduced a new feature last month that allows you to receive direct messages from any follower. Now, The Next Web reported the social network site quietly took out the feature. The attention to improving DMs supports rumors that Twitter plans to release a standalone app for messaging.

A new photo chat app allows you to talk to people from all over the world. PhotoSuerte lets you share any photos you want with someone from another part of the world. Just take a photo and send it to a randomly selected member of the PhotoSuerte network and wait to get back a photo-answer. Nokia adds low-powered Bluetooth to Windows Phone 8 Lumias

Nokia has brought Bluetooth Low Energy to some Windows Phone 8 Lumia devices. Low-powered Bluetooth is usually used for accessories like heart rate monitors, smart watches and personal activity trackers. At the moment Bluetooth 4.0 is available on Lumia 720, 625, 620 and 520. The upcoming Black release will allow support for all Lumia devices.
