Pinterest updates Android and iOS apps, adds notifications, mentions, and search suggestions

You’ve probably noticed that the Pinterest app on your Android or iOS device had a new update come in. What are the new things you can expect?

Now, you’ll be able to view comments and mentions within the app or through push notifications. You can also mention friends using the ubiquitous @ symbol on your mobile devices. And to speed up your searches, suggested search terms will show up and this will reflect the searches you do on your smartphone/tablet and the ones you do on your PC. Try out these new functions yourself or if you have been living under a giant rock and still don’t have the Pinterest app, you can download it from iTunes or Google Play.
