Netflix offers "Just for Kids" section on Xbox 360

Most parents have enough to worry about without having to screen the video content their children are exposed to. Netflix makes it a bit easier with the Just For Kids setting within Netflix which has its own easy to use navigation and kid friendly content. This special section of Netflix designed for kids 12 and under that is included with a Netflix subscription.

Netflix Just for Kids offers a wide variety of family and kid-friendly content that parents can feel good about, with a highly visual interface and, as always on Netflix, never any advertising.

Today, Netflix launched Just for Kids on Xbox 360. Netflix Just for Kids was already available to Netflix members using PS3, Nintendo Wii, Apple TV, PC or Mac devices and certain Smart TVs and Blu-ray players.

Lenovo's Windows 8 tablet shoots for enterprise

Acer may be bellyaching about Microsoft's decision to make its own Windows 8 Surface Tablet, but it seems Lenovo is ready for the challenge from Redmond.  Aimed directly at the enterprise market, Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 is 0.39 inches thick and weighs a paltry 1.3 pounds, it is  thinner and lighter than the Microsoft Surface Pro.

Featuring a 10-hour battery life, the legendary ThinkPad construction and 3G and 4G connectivity options, this device is set to smooth the landing of Windows 8 for on-the-go executives or field operatives (and students). No pricing or availability has been revealed but we expect this one to be out in time for Windows 8's October 26 launch

Video: How Curiosity made it to Mars in one piece

If you thought Curiosity landing on Mars was pretty cool, check out this video that shows the extreme engineering and incredible planning that went into sending the rover to Mars. What's more, the computer that is running Curiosity is a heavily modified Apple Airport Extreme. That's right, a modified WiFi router! Based off a PowerPC 750 (PowerPC G3) chip clocked at around 200MHz with 256MB RAM topped off with 2GB of flash storage, how brilliant is that.
