Hipstamatic releases Groupie Snap Pak

Popular iOS photo app Hipstamatic has released a new Groupie Snap Pak add on composed of virtual film, lens and flash that bring the analog cool of live rock photography to iOS.

The Adler 9009 Lens (named after The Roxy’s address), Dylan Film, and Pop Rox Flash make the perfect trio to capture live shows. @NicAdler has been a huge Hipstamatic enthusiast from the day he started using the app and it’s a huge deal to get this finally. More importantly, to be able to work so closely with the Synthetic crew (creators of Hipstamatic) to create this awesome lens and to satiate their love for photography and live music.

The pak is available for  $0.99 in the app store as an in app download for existing Hipstamatic users.

Apple surpasses RIM in 2011 Canadian smartphone sales

Apple has overtaken long standing leader RIM in sales in home court sales. A recent report from IDC and Bloomberg revealed that RIM is no longer the leading smartphone vendor in Canada as of 2011. Apple led with sales of 2.85 million devices in Canada surpassing BlackBerry sales that totaled 2.08 million.
