Review: LG Optimus 2X on Wind Mobile

Wind Mobile users finally have a super smartphone with all the top specs on the Android fron to use on the network. The LG Optimus 2X  ($445) is LG's first dual core smartphone. Shipping with an older version of Android (2.2 FroYo) and with a 4-inch screen, dual cameras including an HD capable rear 8 megapixel camera, it is arguably the highest spec Android smartphone available on Wind's network.

Apps & Launches: Zune Music Marketplace comes to Canada

At the heels of the Mango OS update for Windows Phone, Microsoft recently announced it is making its Zune Music Marketplace available in Canada.

Microsoft will expand its Zune Music Marketplace into Canada on October 3, providing access to more than 14 million tracks from all the major labels and tens of thousands of indie labels for purchase and to stream or download through Zune Music Pass for just $9.99 a month (CND).  With the launch of Zune Music Marketplace in Canada, Zune Music Pass subscribers in both the U.S. and Canada will also have access to unlimited streaming music videos on Windows PC via the Zune PC software and later this fall on Xbox 360.
