Review: Nikon 1 J1 Interchangeable Lens Camera

When Nikon finally decided to join the mirrorless and ILC (Interchangeable Lens Cameras) this year, many enthusiasts expected expensive prosumer type models with a lot of technical features similar to Nikon's market leading DSRLs. The Nikon 1 J1 ($649) with a 10-30mm lens, the more consumer oriented of the two models released isn't dirt cheap and it isn't all that complicated to use. With a Lego-like cuteness factor seemingly geared to the fashionable and trendy set and an extremely compact body, the Nikon 1 J1 is full of surprises.

Geared towards business users, this light yet full featured 1GHz smartphone features. We think the design is reminiscent of the Palm Pixi. SlideShow: LG Optimus LTE, the superfast Android superphone

The LG Optimus LTE looks very much like the Android superphone to get this year. It features a staggering 1.5GHz dual core processor, 1 GB of RAM, a true HD 4.5 inch IPS display and a real big-boy 8 megapixel camera beating out even Samsung's Galaxy Nexus.

Being an LTE device, Bell says it is capable of download speeds of up to 75 Mbps. The only thing it doesn't have is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but we bet it will run that upgrade just fine. Stay tuned for our comprehensive review. This sexy beast will be available from Bell on November 22.

Norton Study: 68 per cent of Canadian children report an increase in negative online experiences
