Leaked!: Sony's S2 dual-screen tablet on video

 

Sony's upcoming S2 dual 5.5"i folding inch screen Honeycomb tablet was caught briefly on video. Long enough to get an idea of how it looks and works. We're pretty excited to see how this particular model does in the market since Honeycomb should have a better assortment of apps by then...right?

Review: iTunes Festival app for iOS

iTunes is the world's biggest music retailer so it is only natural that they would, from time to time, celebrate this key position by having a few concerts. The iTunes Festival is a month-long fête that takes place in London, England's Roundhouse. It will feature 62 artists in 31 nights and many of the concerts are free to iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad users through the iTunes Festival app.

iTunes Festival streaming for free on iOS devices

Tomorrow, for the first in history, the iTunes Festival streams live around the world with free access for everyone. Canadians can enjoy their favourite acts for free, no lineups and no hassle - anywhere, anytime. 

Music fans around the world will be able to watch performances from the iTunes Festival London 2011 for all of July including Coldplay, Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance and Duran Duran with live HD video streams on their iPad, iPhone and iPod touch via the free iTunes Festival London 2011 App, and directly on the iTunes Store (www.itunes.com in the US, www.itunes.ca in Canada).  Hit jump for details and for the full lineup of performers.

BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac now available, works with PlayBook

 

RIM today released the BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac which works with the PlayBook. The Desktop software is an easy way to transfer and sync media (music, pictures and videos) between your Mac and the PlayBook. File transfer to the PlayBook is already possible through a wireless file sharing but the desktop software is more media specific plus it charges the PlayBook as you sync back and forth.
