Their models back then were austere in looks, safe in styling and swathed in glossy plastic, nothing special really. Their Series 9 notebook , however is one of the most impressive Windows 7 thin-and-light notebooks we've seen this year. Review: TRTLBOT Minimalist Case for iPhone 4

As far as iPhone 4 cases go, we've seen everything from highly protective (but bulky) cases to slimline cases that simply add a layer of protection to the iPhone's corners. TRTLBOT's minimalist case is the latter but brings the benefit of a 3 credit card pocket and is also made entirely from recycled plastic bottles. We take it for a spin.

Of all the 7" inch tablets we've used, the BlackBerry PlayBook is the one we're most confident using without a case. The rugged rubber rear case, all around solid construction and grippy squarish design makes it possible to carry the PlayBook easily but after a while you do look for a functional case that's also protective.
