Garmin launches Venu Sq 2

Garmin refreshes its Venu Sq line with its new model. It's iterative and brings a few useful features. It has a slightly bigger 1.4-inch OLED display and its Health Snapshot feature that sows information like heart rate and heart rate variability, blood oxygen level, stress, and respiration. The biggest change is it almost doubles the battery life from six to 11 days.

Google to debut Pixel 7, Pixel Watch on October 6

Google has officially set a date for the launch of the Pixel 7 and Pixel Watch. The announcement drops a day before Apple's set to launch its new iPhones. If you are more Team Pixel, you need to mark your calendars for October 6, Thursday, 10 AM ET. If you're getting deja vu, Google did tease the arrival of these devices at I/O earlier this year.

Sony PlayStation's lead architect Masayasu Ito to leave company afyer 36 years

Sony is losing one of its main architects for its PlayStation consoles. The company confirmed with Bloomberg News that Masayasu Ito is leaving on October 1st. He joined the company in 1986 and began working on the development of its in-car audio equipment in those years. 

He moved to the console division in 2000 and worked on PlayStation devices since then. Ito became the Executive Vice President of Hardware Engineering and Operation and representative director of Sony Interactive Entertainment. He led the development of the PlayStation 4 and 5. The company didn't elaborate on Ito's departure in its announcement but confirmed with Bloomberg that the 60-year-old is retiring.

Lenovo outs two P11 tablets

Aside from launching a new Chromebook, Lenovo debuts a couple of new Lenovo Tab P11 tablets. One is the second-generation Tab P11 Pro designed for media viewing. It gets a 600-nit 11.2-inch OLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It runs on a MediaTek Komapnio 1300T octa-core processor, promising 120% more power than its predecessor. It gets a "ThinkPad-inspired" detachable keyboard and support for Lenovo's Precision Pen 3. 

Now, if you want to try out the tablet-oriented Android 12L, you should opt for the second-gen Lenovo Tab P11. This tablet has an 11.5-inch regular LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on a MediaTek G99 chip, promising 50% more power than its predecessor.
