'Alan Wake Remastered' comes to Nintendo Switch in the fall

Remedy Entertainment

After launching on the PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, Alan Wake Remastered will make its way to the Nintendo Switch this fall. Developer Remedy Entertainment said the Switch version will run "natively on the hardware," unlike Remedy's cloud-streamed Switch port of Control.

The developer kind of shared details about the Alan Wake series, too. Creative director Sam Lake hinted before that we could hear more about the game this summer, but in a new video released, it seems the wait will be a bit longer. Remedy also shared that AMC Networks bought the rights to the Alan Wake TV show. "There's still a long way to go for the series to become a reality, but we are excited, to say the least, about this latest development," Remedy said in the press email.

Bethesda delays 'Starfield' and 'Redfall' to 2023

Bethesda

Bethesda is delaying two major Xbox console exclusives to next year. Starfield, the space exploration game, was initially supposed to debut on November 11, 2022, as an homage to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. But now it's getting some more time in development as the release date gets pushed back to the first half of 2023. Another title that will be delayed is the vampire co-op shooter Redfall.

As The Verge pointed out, Bethesda might be talking about the games at its upcoming games showcase on June 12, but it wanted to set the record before that.

New action RPG 'Zenless Zone Zero' gets teased by 'Genshin Impact' developer

The studio behind Genshin Impact has a new game coming out. Hoyoverse just shared a teaser for Zenless Zone Zero, an action RPG set in what looks like a modern urban setting. The game pits you against Ethereal, monstrous creatures borne from another dimension. As a nod to Neon Genesis Evangelion, the action takes place in New Eridu, one of the last few cities to survive the destruction caused by the Ethereal.

You play as a "Proxy," and you need to organize a disparate party of characters to battle the monsters. Hoyoverse hasn't shared information on its release date yet or how it plans to monetize the game. But you can sign up to take part in the game's closed iOS and PC beta over on its official website.
