Google updates Wear OS to speed up Google Pay, improve appointment design, fix bugs

Google’s latest update for Wear OS offers some useful features for its users. One of the major updates include improving speeds for Google Pay, right down to opening up the app. Another new feature is a new “glanceable design” for appointments and events, which as 9to5Google points out is already something Wear OS does. The update we presume is an improvement on this feature’s user interface, making these reminders easier to read. The last major thing coming with this update is a time zone sync bug fix. Not much has been reported about this but it must be a major enough issue for Google to release a fix for it. This update is now out on Google Play for all users.

It had to enable gamers with limited dexterity, who might be using just one hand or arm, to easily open the box and remove the controller. And it had to be as high-quality and aesthetically appealing as any other Xbox packaging.
