Ulysses writing app to be optimized for iPhone X

A new version of Ulysses for iOS is slated for release on Thursday, November 23. With a revised interface, the award-winning writing app now fully complies with the all-screen design of Apple’s brand new iPhone X, and offers the most polished writing experience ever. The update is free for Ulysses subscribers.
“We aimed to make Ulysses look great on iPhone X and fit in organically. To achieve that, we polished the app’s design on various ends and reworked a fair number of interactions. I believe everyone will enjoy the result, not just users of iPhone X”, says Marcus Fehn, the creative head of the company behind Ulysses. Beyond the changes induced by iPhone X, the new release.

Review: BlackBerry Motion

By Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

I like that the BlackBerry Motion is built for real world situations. It doesn't need to be babied, you can get by without case. This is such a refreshing departure from the current slew of ultra-expensive, super delicate glass flagship smartphones which cost over a thousand dollars to buy and hundreds of dollars to ensure and repair.

TCL has followed up on the impressive BlackBerry KEYOne QWERTY-keyboard enabled Android smartphone with a larger-equally impressive touchscreen device called the BlackBerry Motion.

Originally codenamed 'Krypton,' because it brings scratchproof glass, is also the first BlackBerry to offer IP67 water resistance and offers unparalleled privacy and security out of the box, BlackBerry Motion is an impressive piece of work.

I think of it as the natural sucesso

New ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ teaser shows Finn ready to fight

With Star Wars: The Last Jedi less than a month away, the hype for the latest installment of the renowned science fantasy franchise just keeps building up. We get a new teaser for the film showing us two of the protagonists—Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Finn (John Boyega)—ready to head to battle. Rey is seen asking Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) for help after handing over his lightsaber. Meanwhile, Finn wakes up and looks ready to head to war, even saying “I was raised to fight. For the first time I have something to fight for.”

On a related note, it seems we have at least a decade more of Star Wars to look forward to. According to Lucasfilm head Kathy Kennedy’s interview with The Star Wars Show, ““We’re sitting down now, we’re talking about the next 10 years of Star Wars stories and we’re looking at narratively where that might go. Future stories beyond Episode IX, with these new characters, Rey, Poe, Finn, BB-8. But we’re also looking at working with people that are interested in coming into the Star Wars world and taking us to places that we haven’t been yet, and that’s exciting too because it’s a vast galaxy far, far away. The possibilities are endless!”

Is ‘Stranger Things 3’ a go?

It seems inevitable that the award-winning popular Netflix show Stranger Things will get a third season. But actually the show hasn’t officially been announced to get the next season. Everyone assumes it’s getting one and we are sure that isn’t unwarranted. The show garnered more than 15 million streams according to Nielsen and recent comment by co-creator Ross Duffer suggests it’s coming soon… though not that soon.

“We are [in] very early days on season three and we’re still figuring it out,” series co-creator Duffer told a panel during Vulture Festival LA. “I probably wasn’t supposed to say that. That’s not official, that wasn’t an official announcement—we’re just working on it, just for our own amusement…for fun!” Admittedly, it’s hard for us to believe that they’re working on it “for fun.” One storyline they’re possibly exploring is Kali’s story. “It feels weird to me that we wouldn’t solve [Kali’s] storyline,” Duffer said. “I would say chances are very high she comes back.” And we’re fairly confident we’ll be hearing about season three happening real soon.
