Rumour has it there won’t be a OnePlus 5T, OnePlus 6 expected early 2018

If you’ve been holding for OnePlus to release a OnePlus 5T, you might not get your wish. Rumour has it that OnePlus isn’t planning on releasing a T version for the OnePlus 5. Instead, they are setting their sights on releasing OnePlus 6 in early 2018. Last year, OnePlus released the OnePlus 3T to upgrade the OnePlus 3’s processor from a Snapdragon 820 to 821. The OnePlus 5 is a pretty powerful device on its own so we’re not surprised that an upgrade isn’t in the cards—or at least this is what the rumours suggest.

New leaked renders give us better look at new Pixel devices

Pixel 2 XL

Google is hosting its Pixel event a couple of days from now but we’ve already seen so many leaks of the new devices. The latest one comes unsurprisingly from Evan Blass (@evleaks) as he shows off what the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are supposedly going to look like. And while they’re not completely bezel-less like the flagships of other brands, these do have less bezels than last year’s models. The Pixel 2 XL has less of a bezel than the Pixel 2. You can see the front-facing camera on the upper left with a speaker grille. Another speaker grille can be seen at the bottom, speculation is that could be housing the microphone but we can’t say yet.

Review: Apple Watch Series 3 GPS + Cellular

Note: Author's carrier is TELUS which has yet to provide an ETA on Apple Watch compatibility. A second part to this review, which focuses on the LTE aspect, will follow as soon as the service can be tested.

Apple Watch Series 3 brings improvements across the board for Apple's smartwatch and wearable.

The biggest feature is the addition of cellular capability which makes it possible to use the Watch independently of paired iPhones

An embedded SIM card allows users to make phone calls, send SMS or iMessages, query Siri for information  and access Apple Music on demand.

Apple has apparently always wanted the Apple Watch to be able to manage its own connections. It did a great job incorporating Wi-Fi into Apple Watch. I've left my iPhone to charge at home and use the Apple Watch to access my gym's Wi-Fi connection to get notifications, messages and even mail.

Google Assistant comes to Android TV, starts with NVIDIA Shield

We have more Google Assistant news tonight. This time, the service is finally making its way to Android TV. But it’s currently limited to the NVIDIA Shield TV with Sony’s Android TV-powered Bravia televisions getting the sizeable update for it “in the coming months.” What Google brings to the TV is similar to what you get on other platforms but have some TV-specific tweaks. It’ll let you ask general questions, which it’ll answer on screen, play music, search YouTube, ask for specific content from apps like Netflix, look up photos from Google Photos, control your smart home devices, among many others.
