The ‘Pacific Rim’ sequel wants you to join the uprising

It’s been four years since the first Pacific Rim movie came out and now we’re less than a year away from its sequel. Pacific Rim: Uprising gets a new teaser trailer that shows tons of Jaegers, a.k.a. the giant humanoid robots that beat up on kaiju, a.k.a. the giant monsters. We also see Jaeger pilot Jake Pentecost (played by John Boyega of Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ fame). Jake is the son of Stacker Pentecost (played by Idris Elba) in the first film. The other actors making a comeback for the sequel include Charlie Day, Burn Gorman, and Rinko Kikuchi. Pacific Rim: Uprising is set to come out in February 2018.

YouTube is getting rid of its built-in video editor & photo slideshows

You may or may not know that YouTube has a built-in video editor in its app. We’re banking on you not knowing this information as the streaming service cites this as a reason why they’re getting rid of it. YouTube announced that the built-in video editor and their photo slideshow features are both going away by September 20^th. What will stay is the “Enhancements” feature that lets you do things like trim videos, add subtitles, cards, and filters, among other things.
