You can stream Ariana Grande’s benefit concert on multiple platforms

Following the horrific attack in Manchester, Ariana Grande is coming back with some of her famous friends (Coldplay, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, and Pharrell Williams, to name a few) to hold a benefit concert for the city. If you can’t be there, the gig will be live-streamed at 2 p.m. Eastern on Facebook, iHeartRadio, Twitter, and YouTube. Twitter is even including a dedicated donation tab that you’ll be able to see alongside the concert feed. But if you don’t have time or don’t want to catch the concert, you can still donate directly to the British Red Cross’s Manchester fund. All proceeds from the show will go toward the "We Love Manchester Emergency Fund," in partnership with the British Red Cross and Manchester City Council.

LG brings Stylo 3 Plus to the country

The third-generation LG Stylo is now available in Canada. The Stylo 3 Plus brings with it a precision, fine-tip pen that’ll make it easier to jot down notes, doodle, or select items on the device. With its 1.8mm diameter fiber-tip stylus, it promises to give you the feel and feedback of using an actual pen. For a better note-taking/sketching experience, the smartphone comes with Pen Pop 2.0, Pen Keeper, and Screen-off Memo. Pen Pop 2.0 makes it easy for you to access your notes. Just take out the stylus and your notes will pop on your screen. Pen Keeper helps make sure you don’t lose your stylus as it reminds you when the pen is too far from the phone. And Screen-off Memo lets you take notes on the screen even if the display is turned off.

Other key specs for the LG Stylo 3 Plus is it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage with expansion up to 2TB via microSD, and Android 7.0 Nougat. It has a sizeable 5.7-inch Full HD In-cell touch display, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and 3,200mAh battery. This LTE-enabled, mid-range phone even comes with a fingerprint scanner. The Stylo 3 Plus is available as early as June 2^nd with the following carriers: Bell, Eastlink, Freedom Mobile, Koodo Mobile, Bell MTS, SaskTel, TELUS, Videotron and Virgin Mobile. It’s also available at WOW! mobile boutique starting June 2^nd.

‘Wonder Woman’ and Google want teen girls to code

You may or may not have heard of Google’s Made with Code initiative, a project that encourages young girls to learn to code. Just in time for the release of Wonder Woman, Google is making use of the badass superheroine to teach young women to code. The project lets teenage girls code three unique scenes from the film with introductory coding principles shown along the way. In Los Angeles, 100 girls were invited to an advance screening of the film before trying out the program. Facebook reportedly developing a teen-centric chat app with parental controls

Facebook is still adamant to get teens to use its services. And we know Snapchat has managed to capture the younger market. Now, it’s been discovered that Facebook might be developing a new chat app to attract the teenagers in your life. A report from The Information found code inside the main Facebook app that shows a new, unreleased app called Talk. One of the comments in the code says “Kids love using the creative tools in ‘Talk’ to play games and share fun masks with family and friends.” The app would most likely be restricted to users 13 years or older.

And its main differentiator is that it gives the parents of kids control over who they get to talk to. A line of code says, “Talk is a messaging app where you fully control the contacts.” One more line in the code says children will talk to parents in Messenger and it wouldn’t require a Facebook profile to use. But we’re not sure if this is something that will click, especially if parental controls are involved. Facebook declined to comment about this app and whether it is something they will release.
