Microsoft debuts Wunderlist replacement

We're starting to see what Microsoft plans to do with the technology it acquired from Wunderlist's acquisition back in 2015. They've debuted in preview build a new app called To-Do. And as its name suggests, you can create to-do lists, set up reminders, and track projects. The app also gets Wunderlist's intelligent suggestions feature, which shows you recommended tasks. There is also a My Day feature that'll show you a fresh list of things to do for the day.

Microsoft admits it's still rough around the edges so you can still use Wunderlist in the meantime. But they do plan to shut down Wunderlist once To-Do has worked out its kinks. The app is available for the Web, Windows, Android, and the iOS.

Upcoming Guillermo del Toro film 'The Shape of Water' gets December 2017 release date

Guillermo del Toro's upcoming project The Shape of Water gets a December 8th release date in the US, placing it right in the middle of Hollywood's award nomination season. It’s said to take him back to his more intimate productions like Pan's Labyrinth instead of the bigger blockbusters his done recently. And perhaps that's a good thing as Pan's Labyrinth has won Academy Awards for Best Art Direction, Makeup, and Cinematography.

The Shape of Water is described as an "other-worldly fairy tale" set in the Cold War. It stars Sally Hawkins as Elisa who works at a top-secret government facility that houses a classified experiment that comes in the form of an "aquatic man." The man will be played by Doug Jones and Hawkins's co-worker will be played by Octavia Spencer.
