BlackBerry's new Android-powered Venice slider seen in series of leaks 

BlackBerry's alleged Android-powered smartphone, the slider codenamed 'Venice', has surfaced yet again in a series of images and animated .gifs. Reinstated leaker @evleaks began publishing some sexy promotional images of the upcoming handset which was rumouted to be developed in conjunction with Samsung (a company that's been interested in acquiring BlackBerry). Slated for a November release on AT&T, Venice, or whatever product name it will ship with, will be the first device shipped by BlackBerry which runs a rival OS. 

A few months ago, BlackBerry CEO John Chen mentioned that, "we only build secure phones and BlackBerry is the most secure phone so, if I can find a way to secure the Android phone, I will also build that." Achievement Unlocked.

Google adds seven new languages to News app

Perhaps you want to read News in your native tongue? Well, Google's adding seven more languages to its News app. The languages include Bahasa Indonesia, Bengali, Bulgarian, Latvian Lithuanian, Romanian, and Thai. The app already supports 28 languages spanning 45 countries. With the addition of the new languages, Google claims this could reach a potential audience of over 260 million people. The native language versions will be available on the web and Android and iOS mobile apps.

Samsung teases new Gear S2 smartwatch in 30-second clip

Want to see more of the upcoming smartwatch from Samsung? The South Korean brand this time released a 30-second teaser of its new Gear S2 watch, which they'll be launching at IFA in Berlin next month. The Tizen-powered smartwatch takes the traditional circular watch route and seems to have some elements of Apple Watch in it with the circular icons. We don't know much yet about the device past how it looks but we just have to wait a bit to find out more about this new Samsung smartwatch.
