Here's another look at Twitter's Facebook-like reactions

Photo by Solen Feyissa from Pexels

A few months ago, we already heard about Twitter trying out adding emoji reactions to tweets. Now, app researcher Jane Manchun Wong is giving another look at potential emoji reactions. She shows reactions like "Likes," "Cheer," "Hmm," "Sad," and "Haha." Some of them only have placeholder emojis.

As The Verge noted, Twitter added "makes you think" and cheer options but leaves out Facebook's "angry" expression. When Twitter was asked to comment about this feature, it said the same thing as before. According to the company, it is "always exploring additional ways for people to express themselves in conversations."

YouTube on mobile adds expanded Likes and Views counter in the description

9to5Google

On both Android and iOS, YouTube gets new, more prominent Like and View counters in the expanded video description user interface. This UI change also shows more detailed and accurate upload date information. Now, when you extend or open the Description panel on the mobile app, you'll see a counter for Likes, Views, and the upload date. This counter won't be visible when the Description is contracted. YouTube didn't include Dislikes in this new format. You can't like or dislike videos from this view anyway. That's still something you need to do from the main preview pane.

Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro can be a portable Nintendo Switch display

Lenovo

Lenovo launched a new 13-inch tablet in China that can double as an external monitor. As The Verge pointed out, it's relatively easy to turn a tablet into a secondary display. But you're mostly limited to using them with specific devices (like the iPad with its built-in Sidecar feature for the Mac). The Yoga Pad Pro is unique because it comes with a Micro HDMI port in its grip, allowing you to plug any HDMI device into it. As you can see in the product image above, it even works with a Nintendo Switch.

The Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a hefty 10,200mAh battery. It also has four Dolby Atmos-compatible speakers surrounding its 2K 16:10 LCD panel. And it comes with a 180-degree kickstand that you can use to hang the tablet from a wall. It will retail for CNY 3,299 (around CAD 627), and it will arrive starting May 31.
