Google tipped to unbundle Photo Gallery from Google+

Google has previously consolidated its Android photo and video gallery into an app called photos. A report from Bloomberg claims this might come to an end soon and we might not see the Gallery app anytime soon. Google will reportedly separate its photo services from Google+ so anyone can access them without having an account on their social network. This reported photo service will be considered a self-serving entity, much like how Instagram is separate from Facebook. If these rumours are true, we think it would be a good idea so that more people will gain access to more photo features on their Android devices.

WhatsApp comes to Android Wear, lets you reply to messages right from your wrist

It’s not really being publicized yet but a WhatsApp update will let you access the app right from your Android Wear-powered smartwatch. And the app doesn’t just send you notifications, it lets you read stacked conversation messages and reply to them using your voice. We might see it on the Google Play Store soon but if you can’t wait to get it, you can grab the download here.

As I look into Apple’s upcoming OS X Yosemite, iOS 8 and the new home, health and automotive features, it becomes even clearer than the new handoff features and the continuity focus of IOS and OS X are just the beginning of something bigger.
