TomTom announced a multi-year partnership with AOL Inc. to power its core mapping services for AOL’s MapQuest, Inc. MapQuest users will now have access to TomTom’s extensive digital map database, across all digital platforms including MapQuest.com and its smartphone and tablet iOS and Android apps.

Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 8:32AM Here's Samsung's SideSync 3.0 functionality which allows users of any KitKat enabled Samsung smartphone to use the Samsung Galaxy Tab S to send files and transfer calls as well as text messages. This makes up for the fact that Samsung's WiFi only tablets can't make phone calls but when paired with a smartphone, they are able to take over that smartphone's functionality.

BlackBerry might be teaming up with Amazon to add its App Store to BB10 but they will also be shutting down one of its services soon. BlackBerry announced it will shut down its BlackBerry World Music and Video services on July 21st. Those who have bought and downloaded content from the service will still be able to access their content after July 21 through MyWorld. Since the company is opening its doors to Amazon, they believe his will give users access to third-party music and video services.
