HTC tipped to release a new Windows Phone device in Q3

It has been a while since HTC produced a Windows Phone device but it seems to be gearing up for a new one pretty soon. @evleaks over at Twitter has tweeted that we might be getting a new Windows Phone from the Taiwanese brand in the third quarter of the year. The device will reportedly be called “HTC W8” and will run on Verizon’s network.

The W8 is expected to carry some of the M8’s features including BoomSound front-facing stereo speakers, metallic design, and dual-camera setup. HTC has produced some solid Windows Phone-powered devices so we hope this rumour comes true.
