Microsoft tipped to release re-mastered suite of ‘Halo’ games for Xbox One

Microsoft wants to give new Halo 5 gamers a chance to catch up with the franchise with an upcoming release. The Verge reports that Microsoft will release past Halo games, including Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4, sometime this year. These titles is said to be released under the Halo: The Master Chief Collection. If these rumours are to be believed, this is good news for those who haven’t been able to catch up with the franchise yet.

Google adds Hangouts plugin to Microsoft Outlook

Google is making it easier for office workers to start Hangouts session at work with its new plugin. The Hangouts plugin is designed to let you start or join Hangouts sessions directly in Microsoft Outlook’s mail or calendar functionality. The condition is you would need to have a Google Apps account.

You will need to download and install the Hangouts Plugin. After installing you will then see an icon that lets you schedule a new Hangout or join an existing one. You can find out more information here.

Evernote celebrates 100 Million users

Everyone's favourite cloud note-taking service Evernote has just celebrated the 100 million users in 190 countries milestone. A message sent to users reads:

"It's pretty amazing to know that we've become part of so many people's lives. It validates the belief we had when we first started out: that the way we work was about to undergo a monumental shift.

HYPER launches iStick USB flash drive for iPhone and iPad via Kickstarter

Sanho Corporation recently announced the launch of its Kickstarter campaign for iStick. iStick is a USB flash drive with both a USB connector as well as an Apple MFi Certified Lightning Connector that connects directly to recent iPhone, iPad and iPod touch models. iStick allows users to easily, quickly and safely transfer data between computers, iPhones, iPads and iPod touches without the need for iTunes, Internet, wireless networks or the Cloud where hackers and others (like NSA) may gain access.

HYPER is seeking $100,000 via Kickstarter to fund the iStick product. Funding begins May 12, 2014 at 8am PST/11am EST ends on June 17, 2014. Upon successful funding, HYPER aims to ship the iStick in August, 2014. This is HYPER’s 2nd Kickstarter project after the successful CloudFTP which was the 3rd highest funded Kickstarter Technology project when it ended.
