Block spoilers with Spoiler Shield 

The new Spoiler Shield app has a simple mission: to protect you from spoilers on your Facebook feed and Twitter timeline. The app will show you your news stream as usual but will shield you from spoilers of your favorite US TV shows and sports events. It makes use of "shielded" posts that you can view if curiosity gets to you. Hackers take personal data in Kickstarter breach

Hackers have recently infiltrated Kickstarter to take personal information from users.  Kickstarter CEO Yancey Strickler said in a blog post the breach did not give hackers access to credit card information. But it gave them access to usernames, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, and encrypted passwords. The company urges all users to change their passwords for their accounts and for any other site that uses the same password. The company did not reveal the number of customers affected by the breach.

Microsoft Office for iPad reportedly arriving before Windows 8 touch version

Reports have surfaced that the Microsoft Office for iPad might finally be released. And the app might come even earlier than the Windows 8 touch-based version. ZDNet reports that Ballmer approved the suggestion of the Office team to release the Office for iPad as soon as the app was ready. Even if that meant it came out before the Windows 8 version. The target date of release is supposedly the first half of 2014. We’ll keep you posted on any updates.
