Path update for Android includes 30-second video recording and sharing

Path wants you to build on the relationships you have on the social network by adding video capture and sharing capabilities. The new 3.4 version of the app for Android allows Path users to take up to 30 seconds worth of video and then share it on the platform. Recording is as simple as opening the app and holding down the camera button. Of course, the app comes completely with camera filters that you can use to enhance your video or just distract your fellow Path users fromthe mediocre camera on your smartphone (if needed).

Google Search update turns spotlight on YouTube for music searches

Google wants to make sure you keep using its services with a new update for its search engine. If you search for a song on Google, a Google Now-style card will appear with a link to the YouTube video plus information such as artist, album, and release date.

Search Engine Watch reports the feature has been available since September last year. A Google spokesperson said, "This was already available in September 2013 when you searched for an artist and then clicked on a song—you’d see a preview of the music video if it was available to display. Yesterday we made it easier to get to—you can now just search for a song directly and see the video screenshot right away.”

Apple's new iPhone 5s advert goes behind the scenes of a Burberry shoot

The iPhone 5s was used to shoot a runway show for Burberry and Apple finally released the behind the scenes video in the form of an advertisemenf for the iPhone 5s titled "On the runway with iPhone 5s." Interesting to see how a smartphone can be integrated into this shooting process and all the interesting ways they used the features of the phone (like slo-mo) to give the catwalk scenes more panache.
