Starbucks updates iOS app to address security concerns

Starbucks recently released 2.6.2 version of its iOS app to address a security flaw that stores user names, passwords, location, and email addresses locally in plain text, which can also be accessed by people who are connected to your device through a computer.

Create visual reminders with Shoots & Leaves

If you’re a more visual person and want to enhance your to-do lists, the iOS app Shoots & Leaves (US$2.99) lets you take snapshots that will be automatically uploaded online to Imgur, Dropbox or CloudApp. The app will then allow you to send a link to Reminders, email, iMessages, Drafts, Omnifocus, and others. You don’t even have to worry about the photos taking up space on your phone as they are uploaded online already.
