Store digital notes in the stylish Pad & Quill Notes app

In search of an aesthetically pleasing note-taking app? Phone and tablet case maker Pad & Quill released their own iOS note-taking app that will please your design sensibilities. Pad & Quill Notes is built to support multiple notebooks, auto table of contents, photos and graphics in notes, and Airdrop sharing or iCloud syncing. The app works for both iPhone and iPad and it lets you arrange notes in your notebooks and customize your notebooks to your liking.

Twitter app Carbon gets redesign

If you use Carbon for Twitter, then you’re in for a redesign treat. The unofficial Twitter app features a new interface, among a host of other features. The app also now allows you to loop Vine videos, play Vine videos in full screen, tap images in your timeline, and activate the Do Not Disturb mode. The update is currently rolling out of the Google Play Store.

Sony reportedly releasing Windows Phone device in 2014

There are a flurry of Android smartphones from the Japanese tech brand but it looks like Sony plans to build a Windows Phone-powered line in the coming year. Ubergizmo reports the IT company will release a Windows Phone device in the middle of 2014. Microsoft is supposedly contacting other OEMs and planning to reduce licensing fees to encourage them to produce Windows Phone gadgets.

Talking tech highlights of 2013 on Global TV's "The Morning Show"

This morning I had the opportunity to go on Global's "The Morning Show" to candidly discuss some of the big tech stories of 2013, and give some predictions going into 2014. Among the topics discussed were Apple's new iPhone 5s and 5c, Google's Nexus 5, Tesla's Model S launching in Canada, all things wearable technology, and of course video sharing.
