I've had this device for less than 48-hours and have had a slew of people (facebook, Twitter, and in person) notice and ask me how it is. So, before we post our in-depth review, I figured I would put up my first impressions as well as a few shots to help our readers grasp why this device matters.

Yahoo! has been on a shopping spree lately and its latest acquisition is none other than Rockmelt a web browser with deep social inclinations. RockMelt started out as a social-focused web browser that tied into Facebook and Twitter. it then developed into a Flipboard like auto-formatted magazine and social reader. Now that it has been bought, Rockmelt's apps and services will be shut down as of August 31. Check out Rockmelt's announcement after the break.
