CES 2013: Kingston Technology launches 1 Terabyte Flash Drive at CES

It is amazing what we can carry in our pockets these days. Kingston Technology showed off a new USB flash drive that can handle 1 Terabyte of data. Aptly named the Kingston DataTraveler Hyper X Predator, the drive is covered in Zinc-Metal Alloy. Using USB 3.0 and featuring  speeds up to 240MB per second and 160MB per second depending on the model. Kingston isn't the first to market with a 1 Terabyte drive, Victorinox showed one at CES last year but that cost $3,000. The DataTraveler Hyper X Predator starts at 512GB  and that model costs $1,750 and is available now. The big 1 Terabyte variant ships later on but no price has been announced.

CES 2013: Sony's new Windows 8 Ultrabooks

Sony Canada today updated its top-selling VAIO T Series Ultrabook line with a new Full HD, touch-enabled T Series 15, allowing consumers to experience Windows 8 in a clamshell form factor. The T Series incorporates Sony’s innovative digital imaging and audio technologies, and packs high performance and mobility into a stylishly slim magnesium and aluminum design for daily trips to the office or campus.

CES 2013: Sony's 5 new CyberShot models focus on 'shoot and share.'

Sony Canada’s newest Cyber-shot compact cameras deliver a range of powerful, high-end capabilities at attractive prices. Five new models – WX80, W730, W710, TF1 and H200 cameras – share a variety of new features for the Cyber-shot line including a new Advanced Flash which boosts the cameras sensitivity and extends the effective range of the flash.  This is especially useful in low-light situations like party shots, indoors or dusk where built-in flashes have historically struggled to reach far-away subjects and capture all important details of a scene.
