Twitter brings in-app tip jar to Android

Twitter's in-app tipping feature made its debut on iOS first. But now, it's coming to Android, too. The feature allows you to set up a "tip jar" on your profile where followers and fans can send money to you directly. You can link your Cash App, Patreon, Paypal, Venmo, or Bandcamp with the app. The company also has plans to let you tip or receive tips in Bitcoin too.

Belkin has launched a wireless charger that can charge the iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods simultaneously. The Boost Charge Pro 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Pad is built for Apple's latest devices, so it has a MagSafe charging puck that can top up the iPhone 13 at 15W (12W for iPhone 12 and 13 mini). It can also fast-charge the Apple Watch Series 7 models, making it the first third-party accessory to do so. It even charges 33% faster than Apple's new charger, getting up to 80% in 45 minutes. The Boost Charge Pro 3-in-1 retails for US$150 (around CA$190 converted).

If you just want a fast-charge your Apple Watch Series 7, Belkin also launched the Portable Fast Charger for the Apple Watch. That retails for US$60 (CA$76).

Instagram on iOS will finally let you delete photos, videos in a carousel

One long-overdue feature on Instagram is arriving on iOS first. Instagram head Adam Mosseri revealed on Twitter that Instagram will now let you delete a photo or video from a carousel post. You just need to tap on the three dots icon and then the edit button. You then need to swipe over to the photo or video you want to get rid of and tap the delete icon. As mentioned, it's rolling out to iOS first, but it's coming to Android soon.

Users in the US are getting a new "Rage Shake" feature, which is what it sounds like. If a feature on the app isn't working right, just shake the phone to have its bug report interface appear. That will help you inform Instagram about the issue. Mosseri says it'll help the company prioritize the bugs it needs to fix.

Xbox brings Xbox Cloud Gaming to its consoles

If you want to try out a game on Xbox without downloading it, Microsoft gives you that option with the start of the Xbox Cloud Gaming rollout. It's coming to Canada and 25 other regions first to users with a Game Pass Ultimate subscription. If it still hasn't made it your way, you might need to wait a bit as the November release is for a "subset of Xbox gamers," with everyone in the supported markets getting it "over the coming weeks."

Xbox Cloud Gaming will make it easy to demo games you aren't ready to purchase yet. Or you can jump into a multiplayer game with a friend on a title you haven't installed yet. Those with an Xbox One can try out next-generation exclusive titles like Recompile, The Riftbreaker, and The Medium. If you're a fan of Microsoft Flight Simulator, that's coming to the cloud game library in early 2022.
