BlackBerry Q10 coming to Canadian stores and carriers on May 1st

The much awaited BlackBerry Q10 has an arrival date. The BB10 powered QWERTY-keyboard toting BlackBerry handset  will be available in Canada starting May 1 on Rogers WirelessBell Mobility and TELUS starting at $199 with a 3 year contract. It will also be available on Virgin Mobile Canada, Fido, Koodo Mobile, and Sasktel, and available in select retail locations, including Best Buy, Future Shop, TBooth Wireless, The Source, Walmart Canada and WIRELESSWAVE. Roger expands LTE network to 7 new markets today

Rogers announced that they are expanding their LTE network, Canada’s fastest wireless internet to 7 new markets today including  Keswick; Ontario, Hamilton, including Grimsby in Ontario, Orillia, Ontario, Stratford, Ontario, Airdrie, Alberta; Langley, B.C, Ottawa, including Kanata, Nepean, Gloucester, Stittsville and Cumberland.

Great Spock! Acer teases snazzy new notebook with Star Trek flavour

Acer knows how to start a sleepy Monday right. By teasing their mysterious new notebook juxtaposed with some trailer cutscenes of the upcoming Star Trek Into Darkness trailer. We know it is a Windows 8 notebook, looks to be clad in aluminum and it has a unique articulating screen which means it could be either a hybrid tablet/notebook or a convertible. So exciting! This notebook will be unveiled on May 3, so stay tuned.
