The entry-level Nokia Lumia 625 is not a 'new' device in the sense of being sold in Canada, as it was launched on TELUS exclusively five months ago. The news on this device, and what brings it back to top of mind, is that Rogers and Fido officially announced that the aforementioned exclusivity is over and they both plan on selling it in their line-ups. Pricing is set at $0 on a 2-year term with both carriers respectively.

Ok, well truth - my iphone batter sucks. And I like my iphone, I really do, but I hate this battery thing. I think these features might sell me on the Nokia. Then I can pass along my iphone to my mom (restored, hopefully the batter improves, and we can all be happy.

Once upon a time a clumsy girl named Jennie decided she should play Flappy bird on her cell phone while in the bathtub. Unbeknownst to her, Flappy bird proved to be the most frustrating, god awful game ever invented and in a fit of rage, poor clumsy Jennie dropped her phone right into the tub. Now, not only was her phone busted, but her dreams of getting that damn bird to any level past 3 was dead. It was a double whammy that day. Ever since, this silly, clumsy, aggravated, bird-hating girl has had to use her super old Blackberry to answer phone calls and send text messages. It's quite a travesty. A new Nokia Lumia 625 would brighten up her day - and she swears never to play ANY silly games in the bathtub again (especially one with birds.)
