LG will reveal its smart home AI agent at CES 2024, a device that can move, learn, understand, and talk with users. It is a home manager and companion in one, enhancing users' lives and fulfilling LG's "Zero Labor Home" vision.

The AI agent has a ‘two-legged’ wheel design that lets it roam the home freely. It can also express emotions through its leg movements. It uses multi-modal AI technology to combine voice and image recognition with natural language processing, allowing it to communicate and comprehend effectively.

The AI agent acts as a ‘moving’ smart home hub that controls smart appliances and IoT devices. It runs on the Qualcomm Robotics RB5 Platform, which gives it powerful on-device AI features like face and user recognition. It collects and analyzes real-time environmental data, such as temperature, humidity, and air quality. It can also monitor and care for pets remotely and alert users of any suspicious activity.

The AI agent is versatile and scalable. It can patrol the home when it is empty, check for open windows or lights, and turn off unused devices to save energy. It can greet users at the door, sense their emotions, and play music or content to match their mood. It can also help users with transportation, weather, schedules, and reminders.

If you're going to CES, the LG AI agent will be at the company's booth #16008, Las Vegas Convention Center).
